The Survey

Batchelor Electrical's surveyor will visit your property at a time convenient to you and perform a full detailed design survey of your property using the latest in digital laser scanners to accuately measure your roof (we don't just count roof tiles like some contractors). The laser scanner is able to measure the distance, height and even pitch of the roof accurately to ensure that the PV system will suit your property. Furthemore any local factors such as tall nearby trees, high rise buildings and chimneys which could cause potential shading will be measured and recorded and factored into the modelling software.

Our sureyor will be able to answer any questions that you may have and explain the technologyin more detail. We do not emply pushy sales staff, typically the survey takes 1 hour to complete.

Initial Design and Quotation

We utilise solar PV design software (PVSOL) with full 3D shading analysis and, if required, will model any possible shading considerations picked-up at survey stage and perform a 365-day shading simulation; the results of which will be included back with your qutoation to enable you to make an informed decision. If we do not think that your property is suited for solar PV (either due to pitch, angle, roof size or shading) we will tell you.
