Ricoh Arena stadium contract awarded to Batchelor Electrical Ltd.

After successfully winning the tender of the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, Oakwood Shopfitting has nominated Batchelor Electrical Ltd as their preferred partner for the electrical installation element of the contract.

The large office fit-out within the arena is over 6,500 sq ft and will showcase all of Ricoh’s latest technology to prospective clients as the sponsor of Coventry City FC’s stadium.

The 10-week high specification project will be completed in June 2006 and will incorporate a suspended floor with under floor power, busbar distribution system and cable baskets for data installations. In addition, a fully galvanised containment system will be integrated including low smoke and fume cables, ceiling busbar distribution system and plug-in ceiling roses.
