Alfred McAlpine host exclusive Health and Safety training for Batchelor Electrical. The bespoke 'Safety Awareness Course', which is run every 3 years will be held on 04 January 2007 and delivered by leading health and safety consultants Alfred McAlpine. It will apply to all of Batchelor Electrical's site personnel and management team involved with running projects. In addition, regular sub-contractors have also been invited to ensure total conformity to the very latest legislations and working practices. The training day tailored to the specific requirements of Batchelor Electrical will encompass a series of in-depth seminars and practical assignments together with an ECS Health and Safety Assessment at the end. Health and Safety Officer at Batchelor Electrical, Adam Batchelor stated: "We have been working with Alfred McAlpine for several years and have always found their training highly informative, however, by conducting a specific training day exclusively for our company allows us to shape it to fit our business model exactly. Whilst the training programme provided by Batchelor Electrical is in much more depth than the basic ECS assessment, the idea of a valid and recognised scheme is a good one and is something that can only benefit the company and the overall health and safety in the industry." The course syllabus has been modified to focus on Batchelor Electrical's core activities to develop further understanding and appreciation of the risks involved whilst carrying out site works and safe working practices that are in place to minimise accidents on site. |
