Grapevine deployed Nokia E70 devices to those members of the Batchelor Electrical team who required the enhanced communication features. Running the ‘Mail for Exchange’ software program, the handsets allow direct synchronisation with Batchelor’s Microsoft Exchange 2003 server. This gives full remote interactivity with each user’s Outlook account and the associated functionality, including real-time email and viewable, editable calendar access, through a simple interface on the mobile. “We are very impressed with the Nokia E70, the full qwerty keyboard and folding design meant a separate dedicated email device was not required. The auto email synchronisation with Outlook is excellent and allows our Projects Managers to stay in touch with the office and clients alike and are even able to view common attachments such as pictures, excel, word and PDF files.
