Batchelor Electrical assists with refit of Carphone Warehouse, MeadowhallTopshop 214 Oxford Street, London

The recent floods in Yorkshire took their toll on Meadowhall Shopping Centre, Sheffield which was forced to close totally for 6 days with many of the shops on the ground floor in 5-7 feet of water.

After a successful nationwide roll-out programme in 2006/2007 with mobile high street distributor Carphone Warehouse they called upon Batchelor Electrical to assist with the rapid reopening of their 2 stores within Meadowhall due to flood damage.

The floods which happened in late June as the River Don broke its banks left over 100 hundred shoppers and staff at Meadowhall trapped inside the shopping centre who were housed in Debenhams until emergency help arrived.

Batchelor Electrical are completing a phased refit to both stores to allow temporary trading currently.
