Batchelor Electrical complete ‘the world’s largest retail fashion store’.

Batchelor Electrical Ltd, a successful Poole based electrical contractor, have recently completed the electrical refurbishment and extension of 214 Oxford Street Top Shop/Top Man – the ‘World’s Largest Retail Fashion Store.’

Owned by Arcadia group, this ultra modern London flagship store now spans in excess of 100,000 square feet, over 4 levels. Hundreds of lights were installed over a 36 week programme, which also included the mains distribution, small power, emergency lighting, testing and inspection whilst the store was still trading.

Managing Director, Ian Batchelor said: “This truly is an impressive project. The centrepiece of the store is focused around the escalators, which are set-off with large cracked glass spherical balls designed and manufactured for our clients in Holland.”
