'3' Mobile roll-out programme gives fresh appeal Batchelor Electrical have completed a successful store refurbishment roll-out programme for ‘3’ Mobile on behalf of main contractor Cumberland Retail and Interiors. The six stores based in Slough, Newbury, Woodgreen, Swindon, Stevenage and Central London had minor electrical refits including alterations and new lighting to main sales floor, window displays and staff areas. In addition, Batchelor Electrical also made alterations to the mains distribution board and installed/relocated small power for new counters and display areas. Established in 2000, ‘3’ Mobile owned by Hutchinson Whampoa is the largest provider of 3G mobile services within the UK and currently boasts over 3.9 million customers in the UK and over 14.7 million worldwide (March 2007 figures). The ‘3’ Mobile contract has run concurrently for Batchelor Electrical with other large store refit projects direct for Carphone Warehouse across the UK.
