NICEIC Approved Electrical Contractor: Batchelor Electrical Contractors are approved by the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors (NICEIC) for both commercial and domestic installations throughout the UK.
NICEIC acts as the electrical contracting industry’s independent voluntary regulatory body for electrical installation safety matters throughout the UK. It maintains and publishes registers of electrical contractors that have been assessed against Scheme requirements, including the national electrical safety standard BS 7671, the IEE Wiring Regulations.
ISO9001 and ISO14001 Certified
Batchelor Electrical is accredited to ISO9001 (Quality) and ISO14001 (Environmental) standards which is certified and audited by Lloyds Register of Quality Assurance Ltd. a leading UKAS-accredited provider of management system certification, verification and training.

SAFE Contractor Approved Electrical Contractor (SSIP): Batchelor Electrical Contractors are approved by the SAFE Contractor scheme by National Britannia. Through rigourous and regular health and safety testing, you can be assured that all works will be documented and completed in line with current health and safety legislations and standards to CDM Core Criteria Stage 1.

Altius (SSIP) Certified to the standards of Altius, recognised and endorsed by leading retailers including B&Q, Arcadia, Morrisons, Next, Selfridges and Burger King to name a few. Altius, like Safe Contractor is certified to SSIP standards covering CDM Core Criteria Stage 1. Altius carries out further assessments against its clients’ requirements. These requirements cover a range of areas, such as commercial (e.g. financial, legal and insurance), quality, and corporate social responsibility, as well as health & safety.

EXOR (Gold Standard) SSIP Specialising in supplier pre-qualification and accreditation for both the public and private sectors, Exor provide flexible and responsive accreditation services that reduce risk through a rigorous programme of conformity that verifies suppliers on a wide range of compliance issues including health and safety, finance, quality and the environment. Batchelor Electrical is proud to have achieved a Gold standard in certification with Exor.

CHAS - The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (SSIP) CHAS is a widely recognised health and safety pre-qualification scheme whose main aim is to simplify the pre-qualification process and remove duplication. Today CHAS has over 500 public and private sector buyer organisations, such as councils, housing associations, NHS trusts, including a growing number of large private companies who all recognise the benefits contractors such as Batchelor Electrical bring to the supply chain.

Eurosafe (SSIP) The Eurosafe UK CDM Competent Scheme is a health and safety assessment exercise based on the requirements of the CDM Regulations 2007 and other workplace related legislation.

Microgeneration Certiification Scheme (MCS): The MCS is an internationally recognised quality assurance scheme which demonstrates our commitment to meeting rigorous and tested standards. It was designed with input from installer and product representatives. Similar to the Gas Safe Register, the MCS gives a mark of competency and demonstrates installations to the highest quality every time.
In addition, in order to be eligible for the Feed-in-Tariff (guaranteed payments to individuals, business and communities for small-scale electricity generation) both the technology and the installer must be MCS certificated.

REAL Assurance Scheme:
The REAL Assurance Scheme was set up by the Renewable Energy Association. Our aim is to guarantee a high quality experience for consumers wishing to buy or lease small-scale energy generation systems for their homes. The REAL Assurance Scheme logo is a sign that the company has agreed to abide by the high standards set out in our Consumer Code.
